Behind the scenes at Four Winds

A Few Behind the Scenes photos

Send us your photos to add to the site! You all really make Four Winds's programs happen.

We're a virtual office -- that means we all work from home!

For most of us, that means natural history artifacts are stored in every corner of the house.

Deer legs have been drying in near the wood stove in Rob's kitchen all winter long.

And we rope our friends and family members in on pretty much every project.

One must obtain both federal and state permits to salvage abandoned nests. And that's the easy part! Here's Jim Runcie risking life and limb to reach an oriole's nest. Rock a bye birdie...

Tech help at the Four Winds office -- Lisa's dad, visiting from Illinois, was supposed to be holding the screwdriver and Lisa's husband is under the hood. Computer problems solved!

Our Brandon and Pittsford volunteers celebrate 30 and 25 years, respectively, of place-based environmental education with Four Winds (and earlier, ELF)!
